are the governement manipulating the unemployment figures

Is the Coalition government manipulating the Unemployment figures using zero hour contracts and Training for their own end to show , well lets look at some of the facts shall we.

There are 2.08 Million people Unemployed in the UK today and I am one of them, I am not proud of it, but it was of no fault of my own and I am embarrassed to be going twice a week to sign on, I spend 3 hours daily searching the internet, walking the high street and  sending out my CV out.

The Government ask you to search on-line on Universal Job match if you don't you get sanctioned and lose 3rd of your benefit, so they have got you by the bollocks.

The figures the government use do not include The work experience programme, Training programmes and Work experience programmes, because if you are on one of these training scheme you don't have to sign on and you are classed as being of the unemployment register.

Another thing not included in are the 1.4 million employees who are on zero hours contracts, so in other words they are employed, but some weeks don't get any work so there for do not earn a penny, yet they are deemed as being employed and are able to claim working tax credits but as they don't what they are going to earn each week this can be very minimal.

I know the firm I was employed by used zero hour contracts to their benefit, they would be the first people sent home if business was slow and you are unable to arrange holidays as you don't know when you are going to be working.

There are some big named employers within the UK that use these zero hour contracts some are as follows:-

Sport Direct
Tesco
Boots UK
Ikea
Use zero hour contracts

Burton, Dorothy Perkins,
Evans,
Miss Selfridge,
Topman,
Topshop,
Wallis
BHS
use four-hour contracts.

Currys,
PC World
Next
use six hours.

as you can see these are some big high street names.

And this Government wonder why so many people use food banks well I think above could explain a lot, some employees only take home £19.00 per week, and firms use these contract because it saves on NI contributions.
